Events That Show Off Game-Changing Community Projects
Are you involved with a project to build a more just and sustainable economy in your area like a worker co-operative, community land trust, or a tool library?  Are you part of a campaign to rewrite the economic rules to put people and planet first?
New Economy Week is a great excuse to hold an open house, tour, potluck, barbecue, press conference, or any other kind of event that helps share your great work with a larger audience.  You can also work other projects in your area to organize a New Economy Tour.

Public Conversations On Transformative Ideas
There’s already widespread awareness that this system doesn’t work, especially for those on the margins of society. What’s less clear is what we can do about it. Why not host a conversation on some of the big ideas and concrete examples of real solutions that can expand what’s politically possible?  It can be as simple as a potluck dinner and a conversation on one of the 5 themes of the day or as involved as a panel discussion with local experts. Check out out 2015 Event Toolkit for videos, articles, and other resources to start the conversation.

Film Screenings
An easy way to spark a conversation in your community is to organize a film screening. There are many captivating documentaries about the emerging new economy movement. Check out our 2015 Event Toolkit for information about some of our favorite New Economy films!
