The movement for a Universal Basic Income in the United States is growing. More and more people are realizing the importance of upgrading our economic model and are beginning to connect with others who share their views. While awareness amongst the general population is still limited, it’s quickly increasing, and Basic Income could become a mainstream idea in the very near future.

 

To this end, we are organizing the first ever Basic Income “Createathon” in San Francisco, California over the weekend of November 13. Writers, artists, videographers, developers, musicians, and others will come together to create content and media around the theme of a Universal Basic Income in the United States. The more creative and powerful material we produce, the easier it will be to spread awareness and convince people of the importance of this idea.
